The unauthorized and blatant display of campaign slogans that have appeared in various forms bannering a Binay run for 2016 is raising not only quizzical eyebrows but is attracting unnecessary attention and may lead to hostile retaliation. I am calling to all brothers not to engage in this cheap stunt and to recall all materials that may have been produced that carry such line. We are not actually helping him or ourselves in this goal if we will continue to banner a Binay run for 2016 this early. This year is crucial for both Brod VP and our fraternity politically to show that we have the ability to govern and to work with various forces. Right now our Brod VP [...]

Dear all, Happy New Year! I guess it is just proper to start the year right. Though I am not an officer of APO Phils.and considering that nobody seems to mind the rampant bastardization of our official symbols of our beloved Alpha Phi Omega, allow me to expound on this wrong practice being adopted by many members. Just like our Philippine flag, as a sign of respect, it is a unconstitutional and a legal violation to alter, change, modify or “improve” the design and color of our flag, which is the official symbol of our country. The same way goes to our fraternity or any other organizations. The APO seal and the Coat of Arms are our official symbols of [...]

Hi, Brod Chato, Brods and Sis, and Everyone First, our APO-Philippines delegation to the International Council of Alpha Phi Omega (ICAPO) only had two (2) members in attendance: Brod Mel V. Adriano, national president, and I, newly appointed international relations commissioner. Because of the bad wintry weather on the East Coast of Mainland USA, I was actually a few minutes late for the 3:00 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, as my flight from San Francisco was delayed. Sis Cora de Jesus and Dr. Belle Tumbokon, the other delegates, had a worse experience; they were due from their flight out of New York City at 12:00 noon, but they did not get into the Atlanta airport and the Hyatt [...]
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! The greatest gift that we can give is life. The National Office has run out of PNRC Blood Cards, it is a pity that we can no longer serve nor accommodate requests for blood by our brothers and sisters for their loved ones. My heart is bleeding but we do not have any blood cards to give them. All we can give them are names and phone numbers of members who are possible blood donor of specific blood types. Early this year, we encouraged all collegiate chapters and alumni associations to organize mass blood letting services, we even put up rewards for the organizational units who can come up with the most number [...]
